1) This bang is striving to be accepting of all who decide to join, and with that comes the need for respect. Any racism, sexism, transphobia homophobia, and xenophobia will not be tolerated. Be respectful to the other contributors.
2) This is an SFW/NSFW/dark fiction supportive space as such the server will be separated into three sections for each topic. Be aware that you will be responsible for staying within spaces that suit your comfort!
3) If you have any concerns about how the server or the bang is run please contact Mod Mel directly through DM’s. This also applies if you have any issues within the event at all, the mod team is always here to help.
4) If you wish to drop out of the bang, please inform the Mod immediately. Things happen and there is no judgment if you need to drop, just please inform us so your partner can get set up with a pitch hitter as soon as possible.
5) Multi-chapter fics will be allowed just as several art pieces and comics but not required. Writers need to make sure that their fics are completed to the artist's chosen scene. Artists need to have at least one piece fully colored at the posting date.
6) Please do not post your pieces before the final posting date, sharing in private or personal servers is fine but not on Twitter, Tumblr, and so on.
7) Any ships, characters, and plots will be permitted within the theme of mermay, if you don’t agree with a ship, keep it to yourself. Thank you.

Writers:
— Minimum Word Count: 2.5k
— Maximum Word Count: None
— Fic written until it reaches the minimum requirement and the point that the artist chooses to depict.
Artists:
— One fully colored piece with simple background.
All Contributors:
— You are only required to work with your partner for the duration of the bang, but the server will remain open if you wish to go beyond that.
— Credit must be given to all participants in your team. Contact a mod if you have not been credited.
Note:
This bang has the potential to work differently than most bangs by parring writers with other writers if all parties are interested in such an arrangement.If you are not, this will also run like a standard bang with artist/writer pairs!How writer's pairs will work:Interested writers will be required to submit a pitch and a summary. Not everyone will have to submit a pitch, but they can still participate in the selection in the next step.Pitches are going to be vague having ship/theme/NSFW rating with an optional idea description.For Example: ShigaDabi - Pirate/Siren - NSFW - one day Dabi’s ship crashlands on a deserted island, stalked by an odd creature.If you have roleplayed long-form before, this is a similar concept.When summaries open, all interested parties will be allowed to pick from these submitted pitches. Then it will move on to pairing.Only give a pitch and summary if you are willing to work on two fics during the duration of the bang. If you only submit one, you will be paired appropriately and only have to work on one.
